Membership

Membership of the Association is open to anyone who holds a sugarcane growing quota in their own name, provided they are not a miller, and subject to the consent and approval of the Executive Committee.

Planters Group

ECGA is divided into 3 Planters’ Groups namely the Mhlume Planters’ Group, the Big Bend Planters’ Group and the Simunye Planters’ Group.The Mhlume Planters’ Group consist of ECGA members who supply sugar cane to the sugar mill at Mhlume; the Big Bend Planters’ Group consist of ECGA members who supply sugar cane to the sugar mill at Big Bend and the Simunye Planters’ Group consist of ECGA members who supply sugar to the sugar mill at Simunye.
