Grower Support

ECGA supports sugarcane growers across Eswatini. Through our Grower Support department, we work to strengthen grower participation, improve access to information, and promote a sustainable and competitive sugarcane industry.

  • Grower Communication & Information Sharing: We keep growers informed and connected by sharing timely and relevant information through: Quarterly feedback meetings and general meetings. Regular updates via our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and annual reports
  • Promoting Sustainable Sugarcane Production: We promote and supports sugarcane production by advocating for growers’ interests and working closely with: Industry stakeholders and partners. Our engagement helps create an enabling environment that supports productivity, sustainability, and long-term growth in the sugarcane sector.
  • Resource Mobilisation & Fundraising: ECGA mobilises resources to support its operations and grower-focused initiatives through: Grower levies, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, grants and donations from local and international partners. These resources enable ECGA to deliver services that benefit member growers.
  • Research & Industry Investigations: We conduct and support research and investigations on issues of importance to growers. The findings inform advocacy, policy engagement, and evidence-based decision-making within the sugarcane industry.
